Forklift Operator Training

A forklift (also called a lift truck, a Hyster, a stacker-truck, or a side loader) is a powered industrial truck used to lift and transport materials. It is one of the most dangerous means of transportation and as a result all operators are required to undergo accredited training every two years as stipulated in the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.

Global Learning Services is one such Accredited Training provider specializing in all Lifting equipment training. Our learning program is accredited with the Transport Seta.

Purpose of training

The purpose of the training is to assist Learners to become competent in skills and knowledge in Operating of Lift Trucks. UNIT STANDARD: 8038 REGISTERED ON THE NQF ON LEVEL 3, AT 6 CREDITS.

The learning has a dual advantage, namely:

Training will be conducted within the FORMAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT and within the WORKPLACE.
